1. Information We Collect
Account information: Email address, username, display name, date of birth, and optional profile details you provide.
Conversations: All messages exchanged with eAura's AI assistant, including user messages and AI responses.
Memories: Facts extracted from your conversations (automatically or manually added) to personalize your experience.
Usage data: Login times, conversation frequency, and feature usage for service improvement.
Generated content: Images, videos, and other media you create using the platform.
Mobile phone number: Only if you choose to connect one for SMS, as described in section 3.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize the AI assistant experience
- To remember your preferences and context across conversations
- To enable family account oversight and safety features
- To improve our AI models (with your consent)
- To send verification codes and security alerts
- To detect and prevent abuse of the Service
3. SMS and Mobile Phone Numbers
If you choose to connect a mobile number to your eAura account, we collect that number and a record of your SMS consent for one purpose only: to send you the messages you asked for, which are AI chat replies you request, account notifications, and one-time verification codes. Providing a mobile number and consenting to SMS is optional and is not a condition of creating an account, of purchase, or of using any eAura feature.
Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are not shared or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is excluded from every other data-sharing practice described elsewhere in this policy. We disclose your mobile number only to the telecommunications providers required to transmit your messages, and only for that transmission.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any eAura message to opt out, or HELP for help. You may also turn SMS off at any time under Dashboard > Connections, or by emailing [email protected]. Full program disclosures are at https://eaura.ai/sms-consent.
4. Conversation Storage & Retention
All conversations are stored permanently in our database. When you "delete" a conversation, it is hidden from your view but retained in our systems for:
- Administrative review and platform safety
- Family/parent account oversight (when applicable)
- Legal compliance and dispute resolution
Full account deletion (including all conversation data) can be requested by contacting an administrator.
5. AI Memory System
eAura automatically extracts memorable facts from your conversations (e.g., your name, preferences, interests) to provide a more personalized experience. You can:
- View all stored memories in the Memory panel
- Delete any individual memory at any time
- Add or edit memories manually
6. AI Training Consent
By default, your conversations may be used to improve eAura's AI capabilities. This is an opt-out setting you can change at any time in your Profile. When opted out:
- Your conversations will not be used for model training
- Your conversations are still stored for service functionality
- Memory extraction still functions for your personal experience
7. Family & Parent Accounts
eAura supports family account structures where a parent or guardian can review conversation history of linked accounts. This feature is designed for child safety and oversight. Linked account holders will be notified that their conversations may be reviewed.
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access-controlled databases. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
9. Third-Party AI Providers
eAura uses third-party AI models (including xAI Grok, OpenAI, and local Llama models) to process your conversations. When using cloud-based models, your conversation content is sent to these providers' APIs. Each provider has their own data handling policies. Your mobile phone number and SMS consent records are never part of this processing and are never shared with AI providers.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data and conversation history
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile
- Delete individual memories or hide conversations
- Opt out of AI training at any time
- Request full account and data deletion
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
